LTC; EXOFORCE!
hey everyone! goshh long long posttt!
LTC WAS AWESOMEXXZ. seriously, you did NOT hear this from me, but it was real fun, and the fun didnt come from playing, but like all the events coming up are just so exciting! yess. let me start from day 1!
icebreakers! oh yesss, i want to tell you about my SFs, BOBO and CHACHA! hahaa. its becky and merrilyn respectively. they're the most awesome people around, SERIOUSLY. i totally love them, and i'm sure the rest of the exoforce will agree with me. (: they're so funny and lively! :D and i love Exoforce too, because we're all so bonded! also, we're really focused on our project, which i will mention later!
there's just so much to say, so yeah. i'm just going to say the important stuff.
we all had loads of fun, sarah kim was the most awesome speaker! she's so engaging and everynoe enjoyed her talks. haha. we did this MBTI personality type, and i'm all the naughty ones. not a responsible gene in me. haha. glenda, szeli and celeste too! hahaha. :D
we did this treasure hunt game, and at first we were REALLY leading, and when it came to the lift part, we spent like 30-45mins looking for that darn clue. and when we approached the SFs, they were like, 'oh, maybe the cleaning auntie swept it away. let me give you your next clue.' which, well, made us quite unhappy because we couldnt get the fast-forward clue which we thought we might get it! ahh. oh well. (:
SHOWER. goshhh i'm such an ass okay. i stripped already, and when i turned on the hose, IT WAS A FREAKING TRICKLING HOSE. like, DRIP. DRIP. DRIP. kind of thing! me and minerva were utterly pissed. spent half an hour to bathe. urghhhh. and on the other hand, elizabeth had like GUSHHHHHHH kind of water. okay, i'm really bad at describing sounds. haha. but you get my drift. so unfair kay. haha. but it was an experience! i just anyhow bathe for the whole camp. haha.
OUTDOOR EXPERIENCIAL EXPERIENCE. hahahah. :D it was real fun, and we took some random bus to toa payoh, and i was SUPER tired. i stretched my eyes REALLY REALLY big to keep myself awake. haha. but then i almost fell asleep before this ANNOYING ANNOYING person, like, oh i dont know, IZATI!, who boo-ed me and woke me up. hahaa. it was really fun and the manhunt was super fun. we had to look for people who had a red umbrella, orange specs etc. haha.
i loved the buffet dinner. thank you becky! hah.
overally, i have learnt alot of things. worship was awesome, and all the reflection really did me good. as in, REALLY, i've learnt alot of things. i'm like totally changed and stuff. i've truly learnt alot about God. God always has a plan for us, and all we really have to do is put our faith in Him, and trust him. whatever He does, He does it for a reason, and we will have to work really hard, then will God help us. i'm really blessed to have God there for me, and there's simply too much for me to say.
God will ALWAYS ALWAYS be there for us, and will always encourage us to keep us moving on. pray constantly for Him to give you strength when you're feeling tired and want to give up; pray constantly for Him to allow us to appreciate the things around us. (: there's just too much for me to say here, but just know that GOD IS THE MOST AWESOME, AND I LOVE HIM LIKE MAD! more than anything. i really really love Him now, especially after the camp.
i might not be the most responsible or best leader around here, and i know others think so too, but as merrilyn said, i'm so much more capable than what others perceive of me, so i'm really going to strive really hard to be a SL, and serve the school that has gave us so much, and taught be so much about God. (: only if we work hard, then will He help us.
right after camp, i felt so empty inside, so aimless and lost. when i entered the washroom to bathe, i sat at the toilet bowl and cried for like 15 mins or something. i dont know, i just felt so... i dont know. haha. so yeah. i prayed to God to give me direction, to know what to do, and assure me. and you know, He really did! i love God, because well. He's just the greatest God ever.
we got Dr. William Tan's challenge! haha. this is a new project, and so i hope we will be able to pull off something real awesome in just a short 2 months. (: go exoforce! at first i wanted to give our propject a nickname, so i called it the willy challenge, but everyone laughed. because well. willy is a guy's ahem. so yeah. /: didnt know. hahaha.
so everyone, LTC is awesome! i have loads coming up for me, just alot, and at first i was really scared, but strangely, after praying to God, i feel so safe and brave, not afraid to face all these stuff coming on. okay, laterrr.
